The Foundation

In our everyday work, we are involved in the worldwide trade business. However, we always keep in mind that we want to act for the people.

On 14 July 1958, Karl Detlef Feddersen, a businessman from Hamburg, created the K.D. Feddersen Foundation. In his testament, he commanded that all of his property, as well as all future earnings to become part of the foundation´s assets.

 

To this day, all companies forming the Feddersen Group support the work of the foundation with their earnings.

 

Back in 1984, K.D. Feddersen Foundation built a residential and nursing home in Lokstedt, a district of Hamburg, Germany. After the building was extended twice, in 1999 and 2006, 240 people are taken care of today. All staff members are dedicated to creating an atmosphere where everybody can feel safe and secure.
